It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway from any home in this part of Gatineau, and it is very easy to access a place to park. Du Parc also features good public transit service. Property owners are served by around 40 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Du Parc will appeal to active people since it is reasonably suited for cycling. More specifically, the bicycling network is moderately well-developed. It is occasionally difficult for pedestrians to move around in Du Parc because few day-to-day errands can be run without a car.

Accessing the closest supermarket without the need to get in a vehicle is feasible for some, but not all, house buyers in Du Parc. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about restaurants and cafes in close proximity. In terms of education, it is a reasonably short stroll to reach schools and daycares from most houses for sale in Du Parc.

Du Parc is an excellent urban village to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm ambience. Most areas in Du Parc are very quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic.
