The neighbourhood of Saint-François is part of the city of Laval, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Saint-François is a fairly good part of Laval for travelling by car. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, Saint-François is not an especially convenient part of Laval for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, house owners have access to about 40 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly very close by. The bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in this neighbourhood as there are few bike lanes. Nonetheless, it is a flat ride to most locations. This area is also not particularly conducive to people who like to travel on foot as daily errands are inconvenient to run without needing to resort to a car.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are easy to access by foot from any location in Saint-François. In contrast, parents may find it very hard for their kids to reach high schools as pedestrians. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. As far as eating is concerned, some property owners in Saint-François may be able to access the closest supermarket as pedestrians, while others will have to use a vehicle.
