The neighbourhood of Saint-Nicolas is part of the city of Lévis, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Québec City metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is especially car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute Jean-Lesage, are very easy to reach from any home in this area, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, public transit users may have limited choices in Saint-Nicolas by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by approximately 40 bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Commuting by bicycle is occasionally challenging in Saint-Nicolas because the cycling network is rather poor, and riding is rendered strenuous by the typically sloping terrain. Nevertheless, certain bicycling-friendly sectors exist. This part of Lévis is also not very well-suited for those who travel on foot as very few day-to-day needs can be carried out without a car.
