Transportation

Rosemont provides home buyers with the choice between different methods of transportation. Rosemont is a very pleasant part of Montréal for getting around by public transit. More specifically, there are many rapid transit stations with access to the Ligne 5 - Bleue and Ligne 1 - Verte. House owners are served by approximately 40 bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Rosemont is also an extremely pleasant part of Montréal for pedestrians; running common errands is very convenient without a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This area will attract physically active home buyers because it is very suited for biking. More specifically, there are a good number of bike lanes, and it is a flat ride to most destinations.

Services

It is a short trip to access daycares and schools from anywhere in Rosemont. Besides public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. As far as eating is concerned, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short stroll away in Rosemont. Despite the fact that there are few nearby entertainment venues, there are often masses of people around, and finding one of the approximately 40 bars is very easy since they are generally located very close by. Main streets, such as Rue Masson, are excellent for those who like going out. Rosemont is reasonably quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Greenery is quite prominent in this area; reaching parks in the neighbourhood, like Parc Lafond and Parc Giuseppe-Garibaldi, is very easy since there are over 100 of them nearby for residents to explore. Moreover, residents will find that many tree-lined streets are prominent.

Housing

Small apartment buildings are the most common housing type, representing around 70% of dwellings in Rosemont, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock.
