Transportation

The nearest rapid transit station, including Île-des-Sœurs and De l'Église Station on the Ligne 1 - Verte and Gare Centrale - Brossard, is usually within walking distance from most houses in the neighbourhood. There are approximately 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically very close by. It is also convenient for people travelling by foot to navigate this part of the city; running common errands is easy without a car. A fair number of residents in the area use their bicycle because Nuns' Island has very good cycling infrastructure, and it is a flat ride to most destinations.
