Edgewater is a neighbourhood within Airdrie, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best mode of transportation in Edgewater is usually a car. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this part of the city, and it is straightforward to park. However, Edgewater is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Biking is easy in Edgewater as the bicycling network is comprehensive. In contrast, getting around on foot is not very popular in Edgewater, although many common errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

It is a short trip to get to daycares and schools from most houses for sale in this part of the city. In terms of food, a fraction of property owners in Edgewater may have the option to purchase their groceries without a car, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation.
