The neighbourhood of Hawkwood can be found in the city of Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is a very good part of Calgary for getting around by car. It is very convenient to access a parking spot. However, travelling by public transit is difficult in Hawkwood. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by around 30 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. This area is rather bike-friendly. This area is not particularly well-suited for people who like to get around by foot since few common errands can be run without a car.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are easy to reach as a pedestrian from most houses for sale in Hawkwood. In contrast, high schools are not very abundant and therefore may require a rather long stroll to get to. With respect to eating, home buyers in this part of the city usually need a vehicle to purchase groceries in one of around 10 stores. Nevertheless, it is generally a rather short distance to the nearest pharmacy, which can supply some basic food items. Residents are served by around 40 restaurants and coffee shops as well.
