Heritage Valley

The neighbourhood of Heritage Valley is part of the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Heritage Valley is particularly car friendly. Many properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is easy to come across a place to park. In contrast, the public transit network in Heritage Valley is not very convenient. Nevertheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. It is easy to commute by bicycle in this part of the city since the bicycling network is good, and riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Edmonton are located in areas that are not very suitable for people who travel by foot because very few common errands can be run without the need for a vehicle.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to access on foot from most properties for sale in Heritage Valley. However, it can be very hard to reach daycares on foot. When it comes to eating, it is difficult to get to the nearest grocery store without a car from any home in Heritage Valley. There are also a few restaurants in this area.

Character

The character of Heritage Valley is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. This part of Edmonton is reasonably quiet, as the streets are quite peaceful. Finally, it is easy to reach public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to check out.
