Transportation

People who appreciate living in a walkable community will enjoy the rather pedestrian-friendly nature of this area; many daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This part of Calgary is also rather bicycling-friendly. Cars are a good transportation option in Kelvin Grove. It is straightforward to come across a place to park. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of the city is not especially frequent. Thankfully, residents profit from Heritage Station with access to the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences.
