Scenic Acres is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is particularly car friendly. Nearby highways are moderately easy to drive to from anywhere in Scenic Acres, and coming across a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, this part of Calgary is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, it is convenient to reach a nearby rapid transit station, including Crowfoot Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, from most residences in the neighbourhood. There are about 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Scenic Acres is not particularly suitable for pedestrians because running daily errands is at times difficult without the use of a vehicle. However, biking is convenient in Scenic Acres as the cycling network is comprehensive.

Services

Families will value that wherever their home is situated in this area, primary schools are nearby. However, this part of the city does not contain any high schools. Concerning eating, in all cases, a car is required to shop for groceries. Nevertheless, reaching the nearest pharmacy and accordingly some staple foods is typically convenient.
