Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, Downtown St. Albert is a neighbourhood within St. Albert, Alberta.

Transportation

Getting around as a pedestrian is feasible for house buyers in Downtown; meeting daily needs is easy without a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The bike is a good method of transportation in this area because the bicycling infrastructure is fairly good. Commuting by car is especially convenient in Downtown. The majority of houses for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to access a place to park. However, the public transit in Downtown is rather limited. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner.

Services

Both general and specialty grocery stores are usually accessible within a reasonably short trip from most properties for sale in Downtown.
