Situated within the Abbotsford - Mission metropolitan area, Sumas Prairie is a neighbourhood within Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Transportation

The car is very often the best method to move around in Sumas Prairie. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, public transit riders may experience few choices in Sumas Prairie due to the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically around the corner. Although bicycling is more practical in some pockets than others, the bike is a fairly poor means of transportation in Sumas Prairie because there are a good number of slopes, and the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited.
