It is easy to come across a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are particularly easy to reach from any location in this area. In contrast, commuting by transit can be challenging in UDistrict as a result of the low service level. Character

UDistrict is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. It is easy to access parks since there are about 20 of them nearby for residents to visit. This neighbourhood is also reasonably good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although there are still several noisier sections, especially close to Trans-Canada Highway.
