River East

The neighbourhood of River East can be found in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is located in the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area.

Transportation

River East is very car friendly. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways are easy to reach from anywhere in this part of Winnipeg. However, River East is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically around the corner. Walking is not particularly feasible for property owners in this part of the city as few daily needs can be met without a vehicle. However, commuting by bicycle is easy in this part of Winnipeg because the cycling infrastructure is well-developed, and there are few elevation changes to challenge cyclists.

Services

It is a short distance to access daycares and schools from anywhere in River East. With respect to food, it is often practical for house buyers in this part of the city to purchase groceries as pedestrians. Residents are served by a few restaurants and coffee shops as well.

Character
