Part of the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area, South Pointe West is a neighbourhood within Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Transportation

Moving around by car is especially convenient in this neighbourhood. Nearby highways are very easy to reach from any home in this part of the city, and the majority of the street network is made for driving. However, public transit users may have very limited options in this part of Winnipeg by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not particularly far-removed from most residences. Most houses for sale in this part of Winnipeg are located in areas that are not very conducive to pedestrians as very few daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle. Despite the fact that the terrain is rather flat, biking is also challenging in South Pointe West as this part of the city has quite bad bicycling infrastructure.
