The neighbourhood of South Bay is part of the city of Saint John, New Brunswick, which is located in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great mode of transportation in South Bay. It is very easy to find a place to park. In contrast, South Bay is not an especially pleasant part of Saint John for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually around the corner. Most homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very convenient for people who travel on foot because many daily needs are very challenging to meet without a vehicle. South Bay is also not very bike-friendly because cyclists encounter a considerable amount of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

It is very rarely feasible for property owners in South Bay to access the closest supermarket without a vehicle. Residents of this area benefit from a few restaurants as well. As far as education is concerned, there are no high schools and no primary schools in South Bay. Additionally, it can be very hard to access daycares as a pedestrian.
