Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, Port Caledonia is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is very often the best way to move around in this part of the municipality. It is very easy to find a place to park. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very convenient for house buyers in this community as many daily needs are practically impossible to carry out without a car. Biking is also challenging in Port Caledonia as there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and this area has quite poor cycling infrastructure.
