The community of Cow Bay is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured transportation option in this part of the municipality is very often a car. It is very convenient to find a place to park. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very practical for house buyers in this community since meeting daily needs is very impractical without a car. Cow Bay is also not very bicycling-friendly as there are very few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes.
