Transportation

Driving is a great mode of transportation in Glen Moir. It is very easy to come across a parking spot, and many houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway. However, the transit in this area is not very convenient. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. Glen Moir is not especially suitable for those who like to get around by foot as running daily errands is at times difficult without a vehicle. The bike is a sometimes poor means of transportation in this neighbourhood since this part of Halifax has rather limited bicycling infrastructure, and riding is rendered strenuous by the often steep area.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are very easy to access without the need for a car from anywhere in this part of the municipality. In contrast, this part of Halifax does not contain any high schools. The character of Glen Moir is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. It is easy to reach public green spaces since there are around 10 of them nearby for residents to unwind in. This part of the municipality is also wonderful for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets tend to be especially peaceful.
