Melville Cove is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Home buyers who appreciate residing in a compact community will welcome the moderately pedestrian-friendly character of this area; many daily needs can be carried out without a car. Melville Cove is also bike-friendly. The best mode of transportation in this neighbourhood is usually driving. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in Melville Cove, and it is convenient to come across a parking spot. However, Melville Cove is not particularly transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses.
