Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Southdale is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Southdale is fairly suitable for people who prefer to travel on foot; running common errands is convenient without a car. This part of the municipality is also fairly cycling-friendly. The public transit service in Southdale is not especially frequent. Nevertheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. In contrast, the car is usually the preferred approach to navigate this neighbourhood. Finding a parking spot is generally easy, and most homes for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway.
