The neighbourhood of Westmount is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood permits homeowners to get around using a variety of means of transportation. Westmount is moderately transit friendly. There are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Westmount is a fairly convenient part of Halifax for bike riders. In particular, the bicycling network is comprehensive.
