The community of Beech Hill can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Beech Hill is especially car friendly. It is very convenient to park. It is very difficult for pedestrians to get around in this part of the municipality as almost no day-to-day needs can be met without the use of a car. The bike is a quite poor means of transportation in Beech Hill because there are a fair number of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.
