Transportation

Cars are a reasonably good means of transportation in Greystone. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy. However, commuting by public transit is difficult in Greystone. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close by. Walking is not very feasible for house buyers in Greystone because very few common errands can be run without a vehicle. On the other hand, the bike is a reasonably good mode of transportation in this neighbourhood.

Services

The nearest supermarket in this neighbourhood is typically only an extended stroll away. There are also a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity. With respect to education, families will appreciate that no matter where their property is located in this part of Halifax, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. On the other hand, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long walk away.

Character

People who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy Greystone. Green spaces, including Captain William Spry Centre and Rockingstone Heights School Park, are very well-spread out and there are around 10 of them close by for residents to check out, making them easy to reach. This neighbourhood is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
