Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Lower Sackville is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The preferred method of transportation in this area is usually driving. It is very easy to find a parking spot, and nearby highways are easy to access from any home in Lower Sackville. However, the transit system in this area is not very practical. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the community, and bus stops are commonly very close by. Lower Sackville is not particularly bicycling-friendly since there is a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is rather limited. It is also challenging for pedestrians to move around in this part of Halifax since running daily errands is occasionally difficult without a vehicle.

Services

Schools and daycares are easy to get to without a car from most houses for sale in Lower Sackville. Parents can choose between public and private primary schools. With respect to food, accessing the closest supermarket by foot is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the municipality.
