Rutledge is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred way to get around in this neighbourhood. Nearby highways are reasonably easy to access from any home in this part of Halifax, and it is very easy to come across a place to park. In contrast, commuting by public transit is challenging in Rutledge. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by. Rutledge is not especially suitable for pedestrians as few common errands can be run without a vehicle. This part of Halifax is also not particularly bike-friendly since the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there is a considerable amount of hills.

It is a rather short stroll to reach daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in Rutledge. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.
