The community of Sambro can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sambro is an extremely convenient part of Halifax for travelling by car. It is very easy to park. Sambro is not especially suited for biking because there are quite a few elevation changes, and there are very few bike lanes. Most houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are also not very convenient for people who travel on foot because running common errands is very difficult without a car.

Services

Parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their home is located in Sambro, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, this part of the municipality does not have any high schools. As far as food is concerned, shopping for one's groceries very often requires the use of a vehicle in Sambro. There are a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity.
