Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Shannon Park is a neighbourhood in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this area. Most properties for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, and accessing a parking spot is generally easy. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner. Shannon Park is not especially conducive to cycling since there are few bike lanes, and there are quite a few hills. Walking is also not very convenient for property owners in Shannon Park as few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.
