The community of Ship Harbour is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the best approach to navigate Ship Harbour. Accessing a parking spot is generally easy. Bicycling is challenging in Ship Harbour since there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes. Walking is also not very feasible for house buyers in this part of Halifax as most daily needs are nearly impossible to carry out without the need for a car.

This area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Regarding eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required in Ship Harbour to access the closest supermarket.
