Located within the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Dundurn is a neighbourhood in Hamilton, Ontario.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in Dundurn. Parking is quite easy, and the street infrastructure is fairly conducive to driving. However, public transit users may find few options in this part of Hamilton due to the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, residents benefit from approximately 10 bus lines, and it is straightforward to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. Despite the fact that riding a bike is moderately popular, and some enjoyable pockets for cycling can be found, Dundurn is not very cycling-friendly since there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and there are few bike lanes. Traveling as a pedestrian in this neighbourhood is also not very common, despite the fact that most daily needs are easy to meet without a car.

Services

It is rarely practical for property owners in Dundurn to purchase their groceries on foot.
