Transportation

Driving is very often the best mode of transportation in Markers Acres. Most real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, and it is very easy to come across a parking spot. However, the transit network in this area is somewhat poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. It is at times challenging to get around by bike in this part of Kingston since the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of hills. Nonetheless, a few enjoyable pockets for cycling exist. It is also occasionally difficult for pedestrians to navigate this part of Kingston since many day-to-day needs are inconvenient to meet without a car.
