Part of the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area, Northglen is a neighbourhood within Oshawa, Ontario.

Transportation

The car is often the preferred approach to get around in this area. It is straightforward to access a place to park. On the other hand, Northglen is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in Northglen. In contrast, traveling as a pedestrian is not very popular in this neighbourhood, although many daily errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

A fraction of property owners in Northglen may be able to access the nearest supermarket on foot, while others will have to use another means of transportation.
