The neighbourhood of McIntyre can be found in the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in McIntyre. It is very convenient to park. However, McIntyre is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally a short distance away. This part of the city is not very suitable for pedestrians because running day-to-day errands is impractical without needing a car. Despite the fact that some bicycling-friendly pockets can be found, the bike is a sometimes poor mode of transportation in McIntyre because the cycling infrastructure is quite bad, and there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.

Services

It is a reasonably short distance to reach primary schools from most properties for sale in McIntyre. However, high schools are not plentiful and thus tend to require a very long trip to get to.
