Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Central Oakville is a neighbourhood within Oakville, Ontario.

Transportation

This part of the town is reasonably suited for bicycling. It is also convenient for pedestrians to move around in Central Oakville; many daily errands can be run without a vehicle, and various businesses are close at hand. Public transit riders may find few options in this part of the town as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, there is the Oakville on the Lakeshore West. Homeowners are served by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. In contrast, Central Oakville is reasonably car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to access from anywhere in Central Oakville, and it is convenient to access a place to park.

Services

It is a short stroll to reach daycares and schools from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. Residents have the choice between public and private schools at both the primary and secondary school level. In terms of eating, it is very often feasible for property owners in this area to do groceries by foot. Additionally, Central Oakville is a good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe.
