The neighbourhood of The Queensway is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The Queensway affords property owners the choice between different means of transportation. The Queensway features fairly good public transit access. There is the Mimico on the Lakeshore West. There are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. The Queensway is also conducive to people who prefer to travel by walking; many common errands can be run without the need to use a vehicle, and plenty of businesses are close by. The bicycle is a fairly good method of transportation in The Queensway as riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.

Services

In this neighbourhood, families will usually be able to get to schools and daycares by foot. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. In terms of food, it is straightforward to get to the closest grocery store without needing a car in The Queensway. Likewise, this area is a good place in which to eat out, and home buyers can enjoy around 10 cafes as well.

Character

The Queensway is a good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Greenery is prominent in this part of Toronto; it is very easy to reach parks since there are about 40 of them close by for residents to enjoy. In addition, residents will find that many tree-lined streets are prominent. This part of the city is reasonably quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially closer to F G Gardiner Expressway.

Housing
