The neighbourhood of West Humber-Clairville is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is reasonably easy to travel in West Humber-Clairville. West Humber-Clairville is reasonably transit friendly. In particular, homeowners benefit from the Etobicoke North with access to the Kitchener. Residents can count on Renforth Station West Platform 1 and Renforth Station East Platform 7 on the Meadowvale Express. There are approximately 40 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are typically very close by. This part of Toronto will also draw house buyers who appreciate being able to walk everywhere since it is fairly geared towards getting around on foot; many day-to-day needs are convenient to meet without a car. West Humber-Clairville is reasonably conducive to bicycling.

Character

West Humber-Clairville is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case closer to Highway 407, Highway 409 or one of the railway lines. Finally, greenery is quite present in this area; parks, such as Masseygrove Park and Woodbine Racetrack, are very well-situated and there are over 100 of them nearby for residents to check out, which results in them being very easy to get to from most locations in West Humber-Clairville. Residents will also find that a large number of streets have reasonably good tree coverage.

Housing

Single detached homes are the main housing type, representing roughly one third of dwellings in West Humber-Clairville, and the rest of the properties are mainly large apartment buildings and duplexes. About one third of properties in this area were built between 1960 and 1980, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
