Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Downtown Grimsby. Coming across a parking spot is easy, and the majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. This part of the town is not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave. It is also at times difficult for pedestrians to move around in Downtown Grimsby because carrying out daily needs is sometimes challenging without a car.

Services

Property owners in this part of the town will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a short distance away. Residents can enjoy about 30 restaurants and cafes as well. Concerning education, parents and their children will welcome the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within a short distance from the majority of homes for sale in this part of the town. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.

Character

The character of Downtown Grimsby is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Downtown Grimsby is good for those who like quiet surroundings, as the streets are generally tranquil - however noise can be bothersome around the railway line.
