Transportation

Old Hamilton will appeal to homeowners that value various methods of transportation. This former municipality is a fairly pleasant part of Hamilton for travelling by public transit. In particular, there is the West Harbour and Hamilton Go Centre with access to the Lakeshore West. The former municipality is linked by approximately 40 bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. This part of the city will also attract home buyers who want to live in a compact area as it is moderately walkable; most daily needs are convenient to meet without a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are fairly close at hand. Cycling is convenient in Old Hamilton.

Daycares and schools are convenient to get to on foot from any location in Old Hamilton. Residents can choose between public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level. Concerning food, the nearest grocery store in Old Hamilton is usually only a short stroll away.
