Situated within the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Scenic Woods is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured method to get around in Scenic Woods. Most houses for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Lincoln M Alexander Parkway, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, residents using public transit may have limited options in this part of the city by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. It is inconvenient for people travelling by foot to move around in Scenic Woods because most daily needs are occasionally difficult to carry out without a car. Although a few pleasant sectors for bicycling exist, this part of the city is also not very conducive to cycling because the cycling network is rather poor, and riding a bike is rendered strenuous by the typically steep topography.
