Trussler

The neighbourhood of Trussler can be found in the city of Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Trussler is very car friendly. It is very convenient to access a parking spot. In contrast, residents using public transit may find very limited choices in this part of Kitchener due to the infrequent service. Thankfully, residents have access to a few bus lines. The bike is a sometimes poor means of transportation in Trussler as there are few bike lanes, and the topography is not particularly flat. This neighbourhood is also not very well-suited for people who like to travel on foot because very few common errands can be run without a car.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in this neighbourhood and accordingly they can be a very long distance away. In addition, Trussler does not contain any high schools. Likewise, families may find it difficult for their children to reach daycares by walking. When it comes to food, in all cases, a vehicle is needed to shop for groceries.

Character

The character of Trussler is exemplified by its calm atmosphere. There are a few parks close by for residents to discover, including Williamsburg Woods South, and they are very well-distributed, which makes them easy to access. Most areas in this neighbourhood are reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

In Trussler, roughly half of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings make up most of the remaining housing stock. This neighbourhood experienced its main construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available properties are from this era. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly three quarters of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas renters make up the remainder.
