Situated in the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area, Cumberland is a neighbourhood within Ottawa, Ontario.

Transportation

The preferred means of transportation in Cumberland is usually a car. Parking is generally easy. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nevertheless, homeowners have access to approximately 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. It is difficult to move around by bike in Cumberland as the cycling infrastructure is quite bad, and there are a fair number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists. Most homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very well-suited for people who like to get around as pedestrians as almost no daily errands can be run without a car.

Services

Primary schools are not plentiful and accordingly tend to require a very long trip to get to. With regards to eating, doing one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in Cumberland.

This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
