Greely is a neighbourhood within Ottawa, Ontario, which is situated in the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred transportation option in Greely. It is especially convenient to park. However, commuting by public transit is difficult in this neighbourhood. Nonetheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Greely as the cycling infrastructure is rather limited. Nonetheless, cyclists do not encounter serious elevation changes. It is also very difficult for people walking to navigate Greely as very few daily errands can be run without a car.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in this part of the city and accordingly they can be a very long trip away. Moreover, Greely does not have any high schools. When it comes to eating, in all cases, a vehicle is required to purchase groceries.
