Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured way to navigate New Western Hill. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 406, are rather easy to drive to from any location in this area. However, the public transit system in New Western Hill is somewhat poor. Nonetheless, commuters benefit from the St. Catharines on the Lakeshore West. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 40 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Cycling is easy in this neighbourhood because the area is moderately flat. Getting around as a pedestrian is not especially feasible for home buyers in New Western Hill because carrying out daily needs is at times difficult without a vehicle.

Services

Daycares and schools are easy to reach without a vehicle from anywhere in New Western Hill. Residents have the choice between public and private schools at both the elementary and high school level.
