The neighbourhood of Merritton can be found in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, which is located in the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area.

Transportation

Merritton is reasonably amenable to biking. This neighbourhood is also fairly well-suited for pedestrians; running common errands is convenient without needing to resort to a vehicle. This part of the city is not especially transit friendly. Nonetheless, residents have access to about 30 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually around the corner. However, the best way to navigate this neighbourhood is very often a car. Accessing a place to park is easy, and many homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 406.

Services

Getting to the closest supermarket by walking is an option for some, but not all, property owners in Merritton. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. Regarding education, schools and daycares are easy to get to without needing a vehicle from any location in this area.

Character

Merritton is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. The noise levels in this part of the city are very low, as the streets are very calm.
