Transportation

The preferred mode of transportation in Maple is usually a car. It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 400, from any home in this neighbourhood, and it is easy to find a place to park. In contrast, Maple is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there is the Maple and Rutherford on the Barrie. The neighbourhood is linked by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are usually around the corner. Maple is appropriate for bicycling. In contrast, traveling as a pedestrian in Maple is not very popular, despite the fact that many common errands can be run without the need to use a car.

Services

Daycares and schools are convenient to access without a car from any location in Maple. Apart from public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. With regards to food, some, but not all, house buyers in Maple will live within a short distance of one of approximately 20 supermarkets.
