Transportation

Charleroi Park provides home buyers with several alternative modes of transportation. Charleroi Park has a reasonably good transit network. In particular, train stations, including the Gare Saint-Léonard-Montréal-Nord on the 15 - Mascouche, are not very far-removed from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. There are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is generally very close by. Charleroi Park is also moderately conducive to pedestrians; many daily needs are easy to meet without the use of a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Cycling is convenient in this neighbourhood.

Services

It is a short trip to access daycares and schools from any location in this part of Montréal. Parents are served by public and private high schools. With regards to eating, it is especially convenient to access the closest supermarket without a vehicle in this neighbourhood. Additionally, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a limited selection of coffee shops can be found as well.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced environment will enjoy Charleroi Park. This part of Montréal is very good for those who need quiet surroundings, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, greenery is not particularly prominent in this area; to be more specific, residents will find that a lot of streets have sub-par tree coverage. Nonetheless, there are about 20 green spaces close by for residents to relax in and they are especially well-spread out, making them easy to get to from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood.
