Transportation

This part of Montréal will attract property owners that use a diversity of methods of transportation. With a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Ligne 2 - Orange and Ligne 5 - Bleue, and about 20 nearby bus lines, the transit service in this neighbourhood is very good. Monkland Village is also very convenient for pedestrians; most daily errands can be run without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby. Bicycling is convenient in Monkland Village.

Services

Daycares and schools are especially easy to reach on foot from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood. Apart from public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. In terms of food, it is very easy to access both a general and a specialty grocery store without needing to get in a car from any location in Monkland Village. Additionally, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner, for example along Avenue de Monkland.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Monkland Village, despite its sometimes busy atmosphere. A good portion of Monkland Village is quite quiet, however noise can be problematic near Autoroute Décarie.
