The neighbourhood of Saint-Jude can be found in the city of Longueuil, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood presents property owners with several alternative means of transportation. Getting around on foot is reasonably practical for home buyers in Saint-Jude; many daily needs can be met without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses close by. Saint-Jude will also appeal to active people as it is fairly suited for biking. In particular, cyclists do not encounter serious slopes, and this neighbourhood is home to very good cycling infrastructure. The public transit in Saint-Jude is very convenient by reason of 2 rapid transit stations (Jean-Drapeau Station and Station Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke (zone B) on the Ligne 4 - Jaune, and over 50 nearby bus lines. The favoured means of transportation in this part of Longueuil is usually driving. The majority of houses for sale are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute René-Lévesque, and it is convenient to park.

Services

In Saint-Jude, families will usually be able to get to daycares and schools on foot. Residents are served by public and private schools at both the primary and secondary school level. When it comes to eating, it is easy to reach the nearest supermarket by foot in Saint-Jude. About one third of homes in this neighbourhood were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
