Fatima

Situated within the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Fatima is a neighbourhood in Longueuil, Quebec.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Fatima. It is a very short car ride to the closest highway, such as Autoroute Transcanadienne, from anywhere in this part of Longueuil, and finding a place to park is quite easy. In contrast, the transit network in this area is not particularly accessible. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by about 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Bicycling is easy in Fatima since the cycling infrastructure is good, and there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave. In contrast, Fatima is not very suitable for pedestrians as daily errands are at times difficult to run without a vehicle.

Services

Primary schools are convenient to access by foot from most houses for sale in Fatima. However, there are no high schools in this part of the city. When it comes to food, reaching the closest supermarket without needing to get in a vehicle is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in Fatima. Residents of Fatima can enjoy a few restaurants as well.

Character

A highlight of Fatima is its very good selection of green spaces. More specifically, there are approximately 10 green spaces close by for residents to relax in, like Îles de Boucherville, which makes it very easy to get to them from many locations in this area. In addition, residents will find that the majority of streets have reasonably good tree coverage. It is relatively calm in this neighbourhood, thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians.
