The Anchorage in Historic Trinity dates from just after 1830 when it was built for Captain Richard Ash Master Mariner, who bought the property from Thomas Dampier, a Trinity Merchant in 1831. The architectural form with central chimney and high hipped roof is typical of the period. The lot is substantial with over 145 ft frontage and with over 1/3 acre in area.
